Dance Expression

As part of our Health & Wellness Initiative, Dance Expression offers youth a welcoming, supportive space to improve their fitness, explore self-expression, and engage in collaborative dialogue, all through movement and dance. Students’ boundless energy is translated into productive self-expression, allowing youth to develop awareness of their bodies through flexibility activities, calisthenics, and various styles of dance. For youth encountering pent-up energy, anxiety, or challenging emotions, this program serves as a safe and coordinated release, at the same time allowing them to develop a healthy, active lifestyle.
