RESEARCH AND EVALUATION WITH UNIVERSITY OF MIAMI
In a February 2018 article, The Motivational Edge documented a qualitative evaluation of its Lyrical Expression program by University of Miami student and Edge intern Margaret Goldman, alongside Dr. Laura Kohn-Wood of UM’s School of Education & Human Development. The evaluation involved 15 young people ages 16–19 at AMIkids and explored a program using hip-hop and spoken word for self-expression and reflection.
