Fellsmere: learning beyond four walls
At Fellsmere, horticulture, agriculture and hands-on projects connect learning with responsibility and practical skills.

A living classroom
The Edge’s published February 2026 program highlight describes Fellsmere as a living classroom. Its horticulture and agriculture programming grew from palm cultivation to include plant care, sustainability practices, animal husbandry and reptile education.
Learning through experience
Hands-on learning helps students build responsibility, curiosity, confidence and real-world skills through direct experience. The published highlight describes elective courses in agriculture, environmental science and experiential learning through a partnership with Next Wave Academy.
Aquaculture and skilled trades were described as future plans, not current offerings. Contact The Edge to confirm current programming and access.
